Position Summary
We are seeking a creative, organized, and dynamic Program Director to develop, coordinate, and implement engaging programs and events that foster community and connection within the synagogue. This role involves working closely with clergy, staff, lay leaders, and volunteers to create experiences that resonate with members of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, plan and execute a diverse range of synagogue programs and events.
• Collaborate with clergy, staff, and committees to create a cohesive annual program calendar.
• Recruit and manage volunteers to support programming initiatives.
• Oversee program budgets and logistical planning.
• Coordinate program communications in collaboration with the Communications Director.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in program design, event planning, or community engagement (3+ years preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Jewish traditions and values preferred.
• Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, and social media platforms.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Base Salary Range
$65,000 - $80,000
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
